Our weather up here dosn't get to bad because the Atlantic keeps us a little cooler. Makes for a lot of nice running days. But the clincher is if you go to race down south..

cheers.

Rice.Ricehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13683643051357184033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9083286.post-1149008904808763702006-05-30T12:08:00.000-05:002006-05-30T12:08:00.000-05:00i would much rather run in the cold then the heat....i would much rather run in the cold then the heat.. Glad to hear you'...Hope your hip is feeling better. Glad to hear you're taking it slow. I know what you mean about adapting to heat and humidity having moved from St. Louis. It takes a long time. Way to go for signing up for the Houston marathon! And also, cheers, for wearing a midriff-bearing top! I'll get there but I'm too chicken right now.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17821164461194210117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9083286.post-1148902457058935762006-05-29T06:34:00.000-05:002006-05-29T06:34:00.000-05:00The elliptical trainer is awesome! I got through 650 calories on the elliptical trainer, 38 minutes, just surpassing two miles.

And almost dropped dead from exhaustion afterwards. My record is 700 calories at 51 minutes. I thought that was pretty good, but feel like a little wuss now.

Might I ask what resistance level you use?Puggyspicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00667238340332473405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9083286.post-1148835117373657042006-05-28T11:51:00.000-05:002006-05-28T11:51:00.000-05:00Good luck at the Houston marathon. I'm a good one for catching mistakes. Want a proof-reader? Believe it or not, I red-lined the copies I printed out (just a mis-spelled word or two or punctuation) but didn't have the nerve to say anything to you. I'm enjoying the story, I just figure you'd like to know if/when there was an error.

Have fun on your vacation! Try to RELAX and REFRESH.PuddyRathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03453487420827796415noreply@blogger.com
