Monday Bunday: Streamlined

Here we observe that Cadbury is an energy-efficient, streamlined rabbit. Note the swept-back ears!

This probably explains why, in spite of my consistent training efforts over the past nine years, this small spotted rabbit runs faster than I do. Brat.

Monday Bunday: Ready!

Here is Cadbury, ready to start another week.

I'm ready, too, and curious to see how my new schedule works out. In addition to my upcoming two-week vacation, I have another 44 hours of vacation leave that I have to use up somehow, or else I lose it at the end of the fiscal year. Working for the state is funny like that.

I didn't much care how I got to use my hours, as long as I got them, so my boss and I agreed I would come in an hour later three days per week. This will allow me to do slightly longer workouts in the mornings and/or sleep in a little longer. This will also allow me to start swimming again, if pollen season ever ends. (It will end, right? I've been dealing with this since February!)

So I'm looking forward to trying out my new schedule, and hoping it makes me a healthier, happier person. Paid time off from work is a good thing, no matter when you get it.

Monday Bunday: Spring Grass

Ah, Spring!

When a bunny's thoughts turn to fresh goodies from the great outdoors!

We're having fine spring weather here, and we hope you all are, too!

Happy Easter!

Look who came to my house!

We had a fine time chatting about the many hazards of his important job. Then he ate some craisins and cilantro and took a nap.

Happy Easter, everyone!

Bunny Benefit Bash Update

The final story in the Bunny Benefit Bash series is now posted. You'll find out how much money was raised, you'll find some great links, and the story has a cool little surprise at the end.

I've made contact with all but one of our prize winners and I believe everyone who has been in touch with us will have their prize in the mail by the end of this week, if it isn't already.

I've been working on our Bunny Benefit Bash scrapblog, and it's coming along nicely. I won't be able to include every bunny that was in the video, but I'll do my best to get at least one from each participating household.

It would be nice to do more of these types of events. Not anytime soon, of course, but in a few months, perhaps. Some of the work could be shared and maybe next time we could get sponsors. We had 101 guest book entries, so even if we had sponsors funding us at 25¢ or 50¢ apiece, it wouldn't take very many sponsors to add up to a nice sum once our own donations were added in. Something for us to think about.

Anyway, thanks once again for a great Bunny Benefit Bash, and I hope you enjoy the last story in the series!
