Monday Bunday: A Piece of Hay

It cracks me up when bunnies do this - start at one end of a single strand of hay and slowly make it disappear. I don't know why it always gives me the giggles, but it does.

Have a happy Monday, everyone!

I love it when the one piece thwacks against something and yet the vacuum continues.

it always makes me laugh too, even more so when they do the same with big leaves

My favorite part has to be the little clicky crunch sound the hay makes.

Freckles did that with her parsley just this morning. Except she started at the leafy end and had the green stem sticking out of her mouth!

Oh, bunnies.

Yeah, it is kind of silly, especially because they always need to find the longest piece of whatever it is they're eating.

What cracks me up is if the piece of hay or greens they're eating is a little bent, and hits them in the face repeatedly while they obliviously munch away. If a car goes by or someone grazes their fur, it's like the end of the world, but hay slapping them in the face and they don't even seem to notice!

I like this too. I love when each of the girls has an end of the same piece of hay. Looks like the scene from Lady and the Tramp.

We like watching this too--especially when, because it's crooked or something, it twirls around and around. They seem to be sort of mindless eaters of the hay!

Happens here too. Benji will eat a thin apple stick that way ... it wiggles and twirls and he goes to the bitter end!
