Texas to Welcome U.Vic Bunnies

Texas will soon be getting some very special new residents: The U.Vic Bunnies!

Rabbits that had been dumped on the University of Victoria (British Columbia) campus were breeding like...well, bunnies, and finally something had to be done. Culling was an unpopular idea, so arrangements have been made to neuter some of them and ship them to Wild Rose Rescue Ranch in Texas.

This is an expensive project, so if you have a few dollars to spare, why not make a donation? You can go to TRACS to donate to the great bunny migration, or go to Wild Rose Rescue Ranch to donate for the bunnies' long-term care. Links are below. Thanks!

Oh, I'm so glad there's a happy ending to the U. of Bunnies situation.

I meant to comment earlier and got distracted, although I will be donating. I sent this to numerous friends as well. I loved the story and pictures of the dove looking after the baby bunnies.

Also, the summer has completely gotten by me (stupid new job), but I want to send Audrey on to the next person or back to you. Let me know where she's headed next, and I'll pack her up. Like you, I've become accustomed to her gentle little presence and so has Tom. She sits in our kitchen and Tom addresses her--LOL.

@Glenna: Audrey is addictive, isn't she? I loved hanging out with her when we were on vacation.

We don't really have a plan for where she should go next, but DKM and Bunnies4 haven't had a visit, so that's where my mind is going with this.

Happy to hear of a good plan for bunny living alternatives!
