Rabbit, viewed from above.
Lately, Tidbit has figured out that she can come out of the study and chase us through part of the house. With me, she just checks up on what I'm doing, then goes away. But she follows Dan's movements like a little dog. That's because he gives her treats, like banana slices and raisins. I'm just the boring lady who cleans her litter box and gives her hay, water and fresh veggies.
Ingrate.
At least she doesn't howl at you and for no reason. My cat has a fully developed Siamese vocabulary, but no idea why he exercises it sometimes.
ReplyDeleteIt is funny to see non-dog pets follow a person around though.
The Bag Lady's dog is also an ingrate. The Bag Lady feeds and cares for the dog. The Bag Lady saved the dog from the SPCA, and does all the doggie 'stuff'. The dog, in turn, is totally devoted to the Cowboy. (Some bribery is involved.)
ReplyDeleteThe cats, on the other hand, treat the Bag Lady as warm furniture. The youngest cat, in particular, is never far from the old Bag. Sleeps on her feet, most nights. Follows her around. Thinks her yoga positions are designed to make him more comfortable. Silly cat.
Tidbit is a rabbit, and a cute one at that ... they use Bunny Logic!
ReplyDeleteI got in big trouble with treats and rabbits. That's partly why there are so many of them here.
Funny, I see no issue with what Tidbit does...
ReplyDeletetidbit is my new hero... maybe if mum gave me more treats i wouldn't grunt and charge at the visitors so much!
ReplyDeleteI'd follow Dan around, too. If I was a rabbit, I mean. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhenever I hear about Tidbit it makes me want a Tidbit of my own.
ReplyDeleteI DO NOT need a rabbit.
I DO NOT need a rabbit.
I DO NOT need a rabbit.
I DO NOT need a rabbit.
(I will repeat as needed until Rabbit urges dissipate.)
*giggle*, Tid sounds like a Daddy's Girl! In the Ballicus Household, the boys (Brainball and MaoMao) follow Daddy all around and always want him to rub them, and the girls (Dorydoo and myself) follow Mom all around, and we always want to be in her lap! Sometimes Dorydoo and I have a Ballicus Turf War over Mom's lap (nothing serious, just stink-eye).
ReplyDeleteTidbit is so adorable!
Purrs and snuggles from Marilyn!
hehe, Tid's a daddy's gurl! I'm a daddy's boy. I love Momma, but it's Daddy I foller all ofur the housie, hollerin MAO MAO MAO MAO MAO!!!!
ReplyDeleteKittyhugs and purrs from MaoMaoMaoMao!
What a cutie! Just try leaving the litterbox, not changing the water, and forgetting those fresh veggies....you'll be chased. Oh, yes. You'll be chased.
ReplyDeleteIts called survival mode--go where there's food.
