Every Day Fiction
Hey, peeps! I have a flash fiction published today at Every Day Fiction. Go check it out when you have time, and if you like it, be sure to leave a comment!
I think it takes a lot of guts to invite just anyone to read your stuff. I know many people who claim to be writers but never have anyone read what they write!
But they say Sailors don't learn on smooth seas!
I did not particularly care for the story but that is because it is just not my interest, too smooshy/smushy - I half expected th guy to sing too! (He DID kiss the girl.) But I suspect many will like it and find it to be good writing.
RG - The story wasn't my usual style and genre, which meant I had a lot of trouble finding a place for it. I usually write edgier stuff with little or no romance. It's fun to go outside the box now and then, though.
For the most part I keep my writing separate from this blog, but the writing-themed blog and fiction blogs are available through my profile.
Loved the story!! Although, if I were Lena, I'd run away from a guy who's convinced the world is coming to an end :p Good thing Lena didn't run.. she would have missed out on that kiss then hee hee
I am a published writer of speculative fiction and comic urban fantasy. I work in a variety of formats, including flash, serialized, and novel-length stories, as well as poetry. I can be reached via email at uhamp at yahoo dot com.
