Sunday Recipe Share
In honor of our nice autumn weather (or as close as we can realistically expect on the Gulf Coast) I'm posting a link to this Butternut Squash Recipe. I've been making this for years and it's a personal favorite, either as a side dish or a light meal. Enjoy!

I made some butternut pumpkin soup this weekend - must be squash soup season!
Want some autumn weather? Today it rained, was sunny long enough to go to the zoo, then it snowed and rained and then got sunny again. High was like 53. Take it its yours.
Thanks for your kind note. I felt like this last part of the vacation was a whine-fest, and you're totally correct that it would all have been much worse had these things occurred while we were trying to work. Or, had we gone out of town for a "big" vacation, the fridge would have died and we'd have returned to the contents of the fridge and freezer having turned rotten and smelly, not just warm and thawed, so really it was good luck.
As for Peaches, my instincts and gut were saying "take her home, take her home" because when I saw her, she was spooked but spunky and hopping around the floor. We've coped with stasis before, by wrapping bunny like a burrito and then syringing papaya juice and cat laxative (our vet thought that was weird--they do something more scientific with critical care timothy gruel), and I spent about 1/2 hour being terribly torn while the boys had their nails clipped. In the end, their advice was not to take her home because she's extra stubborn and hard to feed and hanging on to her might mean causing damage to the stitches or worse, so I let it go. But bummer--there's a little Peaches size hole in our house.

Sounds yummy! I will have to try, but first I have to cook up my spaghetti squash!
Mmmm, that looks like a great recipe. I've bookmarked it. I love squash!
