Monday Bunday: Vacation Plans

Just one more week until vacation, peeps!

Cadbury: I can't believe my bipeds are going on vacation without me. They say Uncle Wesley from a few blocks over is going to stay here with me, and I like him and all, but...

Bunnygirl: Don't worry, Cadbury. We'll be back. "Uncle" Wesley has two bunnies and knows what you need. Besides, we're doing him a favor. He's been out of work for awhile and is having some problems with his wife. He can make a little money by watching our house, and by staying here instead of with his parents in the Woodlands, he'll be close to his children. Isn't that nice?

Cadbury: When you put it that way...when are you going, again?

Bunnygirl: Next Saturday. But don't you worry. "Uncle" Wesley will be right here in the house with you, looking after you the whole time we're away. And if you're extra good, he'll share our vacation postings with you.

Friends, if you don't have my vacation blog bookmarked, go ahead and do it now and beat the rush: Bunnygirl's Vacation Blog

Cadbury, you'll be fine. It sounds like you've got a really good biped for you to look after.
Have a great vacation.

Cadbury does look a little bummed out in that picture!
I'm sure everything will be fine for him, though, with a nice uncle looking after him.
And I'm looking forward to joining you on vacation - where are we going? :)
The Rancher said just last night that he wants to go and dip his toes in the Rio Grande.... might need some advice from you as to the best place to do that.

Awww don't be sad Cadbury. Bunnygirl, you are having a lot of excitement lately!!! I'm glad you have such a great bunny sitter.

My buns have been tortured lately. two nights at my parents house on long island, which is almost two hours by train, and a car ride to and from the train stations, with a big scary dog barking. WE got back last night, and today I'm leaving town on business until late wednesday night :-/ But they love the boyfriend, and he will be taking care of them. I hope they don't hate me.

I'll be leaving Niblet with AB for a week very soon, and he's already getting needy, asking for lots of head-bumps and petting. Not to mention carrots.

Have a wonderful vacation! And snuggles to sweet Cadbury. Sounds like he has an excellent biped to care for him while you and Dan are away.

Rabbits are always grumpy - sometimes just more so. Get over it. Leave and have a good time. Just wait until you get back ....

Have a good time en vacances as they say (I'm English and would call it "going on holiday")... Cadbury is a lovey bunny; do you mind my asking where you got the name from? Are you British? Have you got British family? Are you an Anglophile? Or do you just really like Cadbury's chocolate? Or do you just like the name Cadbury..?

I really wanted to get a pet rabbit at one time. One of those giant ones you walk down the road in a harness... trouble was I was in such a rough part of London, neighbours with fighting dogs, my poor bunnie wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes...

As it is, I think I'd really like a chinchilla. To me that is a "rabbit from Mars" ..(!)

@Gledwood: Cadbury was given his name by his previous owner, and I'm not sure why she named him that. She was from Oklahoma, of all places. Maybe she liked Cadbury cream eggs or something.

I'm not British except in the sense that I'm a Mayflower descendant on my mother's side. I suspect my multiple qualifications for DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) would be held in high suspicion if I ever tried to claim British citizenship, though. ;-)

Have an awesome vacation! Don't worry Cadbury! "Uncles" always bring more treats than "Moms" or "Dads!"

Cadbury will have a better time at home no doubt, but he can still come and visit the Four Buns of Fun if he wants! On another note Patricia wants to send him apple branches and has no address for you and her internet is down all over the area. If you could Email me I'll give you her phone number. Or check your Fb messages I left it there too......
