After all the fuss about Tropical Storm, then Hurricane, Humberto, we didn't get so much of a drop of rain.
Oh well. They closed the university until noon, so I got a half-day off out of it. Better than nothing.

Hey, you got a half-day and no rain! Cause for celebration!
Glad the hurricane skipped you.
And a half-day off is a nice treat.
Funny thing about hurricanes is that 75% or more never turn into anything bad in your specific area. Then the one that actually comes to town will usually be a bear.
I've never lived in hurricane country, but glad it skipped you and gave you a half day off work!
When I'm at home we get earthquakes. Our house is in Oakland/Berkeley area, extremely close to the Hayward fault which is due to blow any time now. So the little 3's we get make us nervous especially as they've been coming pretty often, usually centered not far from our house.
And yep, for that and many other reasons, we are thinking of moving!
Yes, I guess you would be getting some hot weather with a possible hurricane imminent. The problem with West Michigan is we are prone to get cold fronts out of Canada, and whatever doesn't hit in Wisconsin ends up on the other side of Lake Michigan. So we got cold weather this weekend, but by next weekend, we'll get the tail end of yours.
