Monday Bunday: Shedding

I guess it's just a sign of summer, but Cadbury is going through another shedding phase.

I find bunny fur in the strangest places, although the study is always the worst. When I moved the computer desk to hook up a new printer two weekends ago, I found enough fur to make a whole warren of new rabbits.

Cadbury is better than Tidbit was about letting me pull the loose tufts off him, but he's not crazy about when I get out the tape. What can I say, except that the tape works?

Cadbury: Weird biped. Tape isn't for bunnies!

Have a great week, everybun!

Gives a whole new meaning to the term "dust bunnies" when the woofies under the furniture contain actual bunny fur!

Bun fur floats through the air with the greatest of ease.

Tape! I'll try that. Good luck with the shed, I just don't know how they can loose so much fur and still have more, amazing critters, bunnies.

Tape is a GREAT idea!!! Thanks for the tip!!!
(Sogna has been shedding like a little ragamuffin for about 5 months straight! When will it end?! Biff is a bit better, but has just started a new round, one of those heavy bouts this time)

One more thing: Maybe cadbury's shedding isn't just about summer, but also territoriality to sort of mark up territory now that Lola's there?

Good luck with the shedding!!!

Pumpkin hates when I try to pull her loose hair off of her! She always ends up thumping at me:)

Pink sheds a little, but Elvis doesn't shed in the same way, nor does little bristly Peaches. My dear departed bunny, the Bunnyman, shed like mad, and he LIKED for me to pull it out in tufts while I watched a movie. He'd sit calmly in my lap while I plucked away. None of these guys like lap-sitting, so it's a good thing they don't shed a lot.

maybe this was pre planning insulation for a warmer winter time?
(we have lots of pre planning insulation going on here!)

I just spent the day lint rolling the carpet in my bedroom. I think indoor buns go thru more shedding cycles.

Millie loves to be brushed and actually lets me vaccum her. She doesnt mind a bit.

Yup, there's a lot of shedding going on here, too. And Brainball is shedding floofwads. He doesn't much like for me to pull off the wads, either! ;)

I hope Niblet likes the tape better than he likes (a)me pulling the tufts out or (b)the brush. He looks like he has mange, but he just refuses to let me brush or pull the fur off. He's never shed as much as he has this summer.
