Xerox's Law
The higher one's grade or rank within a company, the lower one's competency with regard to removing paper jams, replacing toner, or even understanding how to use the copy machine at all.
Lol, I remember this, except at the places I worked, although everyone in upper management had been lower management at one point, and although there were people below middle management, the copier was exclusively middle management's domain--specifically, the newest middle manager.
At my prior work place, the senior vice president (who was my boss) did not know how to use email. So he had his secretary print them out, he wrote his answers on that sheet, then she typed them as an email response!
I am a published writer of speculative fiction and comic urban fantasy. I work in a variety of formats, including flash, serialized, and novel-length stories, as well as poetry. I can be reached via email at uhamp at yahoo dot com.
