No change with Tidbit. She went back to the vet this morning and although they said she was "active," she wasn't eating or drinking on her own, so they're keeping her through the weekend.
It's starting to scare me that this hasn't resolved itself yet. Tid has always been a good eater, almost never without a mouthful of timothy hay. It's hard to imagine what could've caused this, except that rabbits are rabbits and it happens.
Pixel misses his friend. He keeps wandering into her room and checking all the spots she should be. Funny boy, he's always too busy being a cool cat when Tid wants to snuggle and we're in the vicinity, but at times like this, his true colors show.
Thanks again to all who have posted their kind thoughts for Tidbit's recovery.

Oh, Bunnygirl -- I'm so sorry Tid is still not with the eating / drinking / pooping program! Poor sweet little bungirl.
But I'm glad to hear that she's active, and hopefully a day or two more at the vet's will help her get squared away. I'm sending all the good thoughts I can muster, and so are hubby and our Ballicai.
Get well soon, Tid!
:( I will be praying for Tid, and for a resolution so you're not worrying over the vacation and schedule. I had to go on a biz trip last year when Oliver was running the fevers last year and it was so hard to leave. Get well Tid! Eat POOP EAT!!!
We are all thinking good thoughts here. Have they checked to see if she has bloat? That is a common missed bunny sickness.
I am so sorry that Tidbit is still not eating or drinking. I really hope and pray that the vet can get her squared away over the weekend. I feel for Pixel.
come on little Tid! EAT!
has the vet scanned your Bun's tummy to see if anything is blocking her up or the suchlike? i hope not to scare you or make you thing this could be the same thing, but our rabbit Dubbs had a similar problem, we had him scanned and it turned out he had a lump on his kidney...HOWEVER...once this was discovered and treated, he went on to live for another 3.5 years - reaching the grand old age of 10.
this all happened 1 week before my Meowmie went away too, the vet told Meowmie that they would look after him whilst she was gone. Dubbs had a brilliant time at the vet for two weeks and was very loving and by all accounts thoroughly enjoyed himself. can your vet keep her in whilst you are away? that way you will know she has the care she needs.
i hope this resolves itself and that it is a very minor problem which is causing Tids to stop eating.
hugs and stuff to you and your precious bunny xxx
Sweet Tidbit, try to eat something! We will be purring and praying for you and your sweet bunny!
oh Tidbit, please try and eat! we is sending lots of purrrrss and purrayers to you!!!
How old is Tidbit? And what is the life-span of a domestic rabbit? The Bag Lady doesn't know much about rabbits as pets.
Sure hope they can get this resolved soon, so that it doesn't spoil your vacation!
Get well, Tid!
