Well, we were told she was eating hay and throwing fits about being cooped up, so I went to pick Tidbit up today. Upon arriving home, she went into a corner and has refused to eat, drink, or use her litterbox since.
It looks like she pulled a fast one at the vet's in order to get sprung. She's not fooling us, though. Unless she makes some progress with either input, output, or both, it's back to the vet for her in the morning.
With our vacation starting in just one week, we're starting to have to think about contingency plans. Once I start my new job, I can't take vacation for six months, and Dan won't have another opportunity until December. If this rabbit doesn't start eating, we are so screwed.

Did the vet determine what was wrong? Perhaps poor Tidbit is a mind-reader and knows you want to go on a vacation...
The Bag Lady would volunteer to look after her while you are on holidays, but you'd have to drop her off, so that might cut into your vacation time a little...
I hope she is doing better soon. It has to be worrisome not knowing what's wrong or why she won't eat. Good luck! Keep us posted.
Maybe Tidbit just missed you too much, and now you're being punished.
Rabbits are pretty sensitive. Maybe all the change of scenery has her feeling unsure. I hope she settles in soon! We traveled across country with Mario and his eating definitely went down with all of the changes. It took him a little bit to get it back to normal once we settled. Maybe she's going through a mini version of this.
Come ON Tidbit! In one end and out the other, it's good for you.
HI BG! I've been MIA lately and have missed reading your blog. I'm all caught up now---wow! I really did miss a lot! Congratulations on the new job. I completely understand how leaving your current position can feel sad---it is sad!---and I admire you for taking on a new challenge. I wish you much, much success and happiness.
I'm so sorry that Tidbit isn't feeling well. It's terrible when our pets are sick or depressed or otherwise confusing us. I hope she gets back to normal ASAP. Keep us posted!

Oh, Bunnygirl -- I'm so sorry Tid is still under the weather!
My heart goes out to you. I know how frustrating it is to feel helpless in the face of something like this -- poor sweet bun. I hope she gets with the eating and pooping program soon, soon, soon!
Well .. good luck. At least a week is a long time in the life of a sick rabbit. And, good bunny sitters are hard to find.
Bunnygirl, how you doing? I hope all is well in your world. By the way, you've been tagged. Not my idea, but you were my choice. Check my blog if you're wondering what the heck I'm talking about.
